Today, 28.01.2026, at the invitation of the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo H.E. Mr. Hadji Bayraktari, a meeting was held at the embassy with the Chairman of BATA Mr. Odisei Spasov. The meeting turned into a friendly conversation regarding cooperation in the field of tourism between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Kosovo.
Plans for meetings with tour operators and the tourism industry organization in Kosovo were discussed, as well as the preparation of projects for info tours organized by the two countries, with the aim of presenting destination Kosovo and destination Bulgaria.
H.E. Mr. Hadji Bayraktari shared that although the tourist flow to Bulgaria is relatively small, it is concentrated mainly in our winter resorts. On the part of BATA, we proposed to present Bulgaria in its entirety - with all its natural, cultural and touristic wealth.
We also talked about possibilities for flights from the capital Pristina to the Bulgarian seaside resorts, as well as for bus transportation to them. I presented information about our balneological resorts, the variety of mineral springs in Bulgaria, their healing properties, and the countries from which tourists traditionally arrive with excellent reviews.
