Today, October 29, 2025, a reception was held at the Ramada Sofia Hotel on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Turkey.
The event was attended by Mr. Odisey Spasov - Chairman of the Bulgarian Association of Travel Agencies (BATA) and owner of the tour operator company Partner Travel, who was personally invited by the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Mehmet Sait Uyanık and Ms. Eda Ersek Uyanık.
The Ambassador delivered a speech of thanks for the good relations between Bulgaria and Turkey and the 2nd anthems of the Republics were heard.
Culinary specialties from different regions of the Republic of Turkey were presented. The famous Turkish pastries and Turkish coffee prepared on sand were tasted.
Representatives from various embassies, politicians, ministers, deputies and colleagues from tour operator companies were also guests.
Mr. Spasov held a conversation with the Ambassador and an upcoming meeting is expected to discuss solving current problems and continuing future cooperation with the Republic of Turkey.
